I’ve received a lot of letters from artists asking to check out their artwork and their blog, and I’ve noticed that a lot of them openly write unhealthy amounts of negative comments about their artwork, it was super depressing, honestly. :(
Confidence plays a very very important role as an artist, it’s what helps us learn and grow without the constant feeling of doubt and jealousy! You are a unique individual who must go down your own unique path, and as scary as it sounds, you can’t rely on others to hold your hand all the way through. You are the only one who can get yourself to where you need to go, and beating up your artwork is not the way! Trust yourself and your abilities to make a change, and you can do anything!!
Love your art, love yourself!
GBF Season 2 Updates!:

Plot: Taking place seven years after the Season 1 (7th Gunpla Battle Championship), gunpla battle has grown with new rules and battle modes.
Taking place back at Sei’s old school, Fumina Hoshino is the president and only member of the Gunpla Battle Club (despite the global popularity) wishes to enter “the upcoming All-Japan Gunpla Battle Championship”. However, the competition now requires participants to be in teams of three to compete. She then meets Sekai Kamiki- transfer student, and martial artist, along with Yuuma Kousaka (you guessed it, it’s China’s younger brother ) to try their best to face the competition ahead.

for you and me who experience artblock..
keep on drawing!
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT OMG
You know…sometimes I feel like…”Man, I wish my art was good enough. I wish people loved my art…I wish I was this good…etc..etc.” Then I see posts like this…and I remember why I draw so much. Because I like doing it. I love drawing. And I am getting better and better!! I don’t think I will ever stop. Even if people don’t appreciate my work like I do…and I know that sounds conceited—but I am really proud of myself. I’ve come a long way. Instead of comparing my drawings to other peoples…I will start comparing my drawings to my previous ones…see how much better I get!! :)
this what people tend to forget..
stop comparing your art to others, but start comparing your art to previous one to see how much you advance.
thank you for the reminder my friend :)
if you are ever sad/stressed/anything and you need to vent, my ask box is always open! (you can send fanmail too if you can)
